Wreath Making, Carols and Homemade Mince Pies
Sunday 18th December 11am – 3.30pm. Live Carols from 1.30pm. All are welcome to come and enjoy a homemade mince pie, mulled apple juice some live carols at the Colne Valley Visitor Centre for a traditional festive celebration.
Winter Carousel Story Trail
Saturday 17th December – Wednesday 4th January.
Follow the story of the Winter Carousel and walk the trail to fill in the missing words- don’t forget to find the snowflakes en-route! Then come back to the Visitor Centre to claim your prize. Self-led and suitable for all ages with adult supervision.

Crafty Christmas Scavenger Hunt
Saturday 17th December – 24th December.
Go on a Scavenger Hunt and make your very own Christmas tree to hang at home and Christmas card to give to a loved one. Don’t forget to come back to the Visitor Centre to claim your prize! Suitable for all ages, but recommended for 6+ with adult supervision.

Wednesday 21st and Wednesday 28th December 10.30am – 12.30pm.
Fun for all the family! Scavenge materials in the woods to make a boat. Can you beat your parents and siblings by having the biggest, strongest or most buoyant boat? Will it stay afloat on the River Misbourne? A staff-led event for children and families of all ages.
£2.50 per child, accompanying adults free.
Cryptic Christmas Quiz
Saturday 17th December – 4th January.
Put your head together with friends and family to work out this cryptic quiz. Perfectly complemented by tea and a mince pie at the on-site cafe. Recommended for 16+.

Christmas Torchlight Treasure Hunt and Carols by the Fire
Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st December 4 – 5pm.
Come and spend an evening in the beautiful surroundings of the Iver Environmental Centre. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to explore the centre, which is not usually open to the public. A perfect pre-Christmas event for the whole family. Suitable for children of all ages.
